The work of the volunteers is extremely important for Keto. If you want to gain experience either working in the field with cetaceans and/or turtles through coastal communities or analyzing behavioral data and photo identification, contact us.
Our researchers and partners from Drake (tourist guides, captains and tourists) have gathered valuable photos to be utilized in catalogs for photo identification. Through distinctive markings on certain fins or dorsal part (depending on the species), we can individually identify the dolphins and whales. Your pictures would go into our catalog identified by your name and other important data. If you’d like more information on the photo ID process, contact us.
